BECS (Bulk Electronic Clearing System) is Australia's native bank-to-bank direct debit network — the same system your electricity provider uses. For a studio it means lower fees than credit cards (1% + $0.30, capped at $3.50 per transaction) and much higher payment success rates. Most platforms don't support BECS at all, forcing you onto more expensive card processing. Studio Software integrates BECS natively through Stripe.
